Make the Call for Clean Water March 5th!

Join conservationists across the country for a National Clean Water Call-In Day March 5th! Tell your U.S. Representative to return critical protections to the wetlands, lakes and streams that are critical to our country’s waterfowl, fish and other wildlife.

Recent Supreme Court decisions and actions by the Bush Administration have left protections for these important waterways up for grabs! Congress can undo these rollbacks by enacting the Clean Water Restoration Act. Please call your representative on March 5 and urge him or her to vote for the Clean Water Restoration Act. If you can't call on Wednesday, call anytime this week.

Look up your representative's phone number and get all the tips you need to make the call this week:

Help Reduce Global Poverty and Protect Wildlife

Did you know that more than one billion people worldwide live on less than $1 a day, and another 1.6 billion struggle to survive on less than $2 a day? Those living in poverty rely more heavily on natural resources, on which both people and wildlife depend.

The U.S. Senate is considering a new bill called the Global Poverty Act that would reduce poverty worldwide and help protect the environment. Please make sure your senators are on board with this important legislation!

Ask your senators to support the Global Poverty Act:
