Utah Universities and Government Release Findings on Shortened Workweek
Shortened Work WeekAlmost exactly one year ago, ClimateEdu's premiere issue included a story about Utah state’s experiment with the 4-day workweek, which was intended to reduce GHG emissions and provide an extra benefit to employees. One year later, the program seems to be working.

Putting Vending Machine Energy Consumption on Ice 

New vending machine add-ons at USWP are cutting energy use and greenhouse gas emissions, making the per-drink climate impact significantly lower than it once was.

Schools are using social science techniques to get environmental messages to their students, such as Dartmouth University’s animated polar bear, which responds in real time to dorm energy usage.
