The Future of Northwest Salmon
Jim Martin leads a talk about Northwest salmon.
Join us for a free evening of passionate speakers, door prizes and free salmon! Learn about the current state of salmon and steelhead in the Columbia and Snake river systems and how you can help assure their survival for future generations. Jim Martin, a former member of the NWF board, will be giving the talk.

Martin is a former member of the National Wildlife Federation board of directors and is also the conservation director of Pure Fishing. He recently retired after 30 years with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, six of which he served as Chief of Fisheries, and is a committed advocate for salmon and steelhead. He will discuss the threats that salmon and steelhead are facing and will elaborate about the increasing understanding of the impacts of global warming on these prized cultural and economic resources.
