How it Works
When You Arrive

At the check-in desk you can:
Register: If you didn't register online, you can register at the check-in station on the day of the event.
Onsite registration is $15 per adult, $9 per child. Register online today to get the early bird prices ($12 per adult, $7 per child)!
Drop off donations: As a Hike & Seek participant, you have the option to fundraise. The funds you collect will support National Wildlife Federation's programs to get kids outdoors and reconnect America's youth with nature. If you register online, you will receive access to your very own Participant Center which contains tips, tools, and resources to make fundraising fun and easy.
Pick up your Map and Mission Guidebook: This is your entrance ticket to the event! The Hike & Seek Guidebook includes: a park map, locations and descriptions of Stop & Study stations, activities, local nature facts, and much more!
Please note: Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Getting On The Trail
The adventure begins at 9:00 a.m. In order to comfortably accommodate as many participants on the trail as possible, groups will begin in 15 minute intervals. We want you to be able to enjoy each stop along your hike!
Your Hike & Seek Adventure
How long is the hike? The trail length varies by location. Check back soon for hike length information.
What activities are on the trails? Along your hike, you'll encounter five Stop & Study Stations. These stations are manned by a naturalist or volunteer who will share nature facts and engage your children in an interesting, interactive lesson on the great outdoors.
Collect all the badges: After completing each Stop & Study Station, you'll earn a colorful naturalist badge!
