 We need wildlife champions like you to help raise awareness of the Climate Security Act!
A great way to do this is with a letter to the editor, calling on your senators to vote "Yes!" to this important legislation. If you can get a letter published in your local newspaper, there's a good chance it will be read not only by your senators, but also by your neighbors and community leaders.
Please write a letter to your local newspaper to highlight the need to protect wildlife by passing the Climate Security Act!

Dear Editor,
This June, our senators, ___________ and __________ will vote on the Climate Security Act, a bill that will jumpstart America's clean energy future and address the threat of global warming.
Our current dependency on oil and other fossil fuels is putting the squeeze on American families and stalling our economy, draining $50 million every hour from American wallets. The squeeze will get worse until we invest in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
The Climate Security Act helps do just that.
By implementing a market-based cap-and-trade system, the Climate Security Act will help reduce global warming pollution about 2% per year. It also invests polluter payments toward reducing energy costs for American families and creates millions of new "green collar" jobs in the U.S.
Our senators need to lead on this issue by supporting the Climate Security Act. Congress needs to send a signal to the rest of the world that America is ready to engage in the fight against global warming.
