River otters are very sensitive to pollution, and many of the headwater wetlands and streams on which they depend are at risk. The Clean Water Act helps guard their habitat from pollution and destruction, but a few Supreme Court decisions have caused confusion over which waterways are protected under the Clean Water Act.
It is up to the Obama Administration to act now by restoring Clean Water Act protections to rivers, streams and wetlands that provide habitats for river otters and drinking water for millions of Americans.
Take action today to protect river otters! Edit and send a message to President Obama and agency leaders urging them to stand up for Clean Water Act protections to small streams and wetlands.
If you take action and have not already registered, you will receive periodic updates and communications from National Wildlife Federation and National Wildlife Federation Action Fund.
