If Big Oil gets its way, the Keystone XL pipeline would drive the expansion of tar sands oil in Canada, which is pushing already threatened caribou herds towards extinction as more and more of their dwindling forest habitat is destroyed.
What's more, the project would accelerate the global climate crisis that is melting sea ice for polar bears in the Arctic, and would threaten critically endangered whooping cranes along its route with toxic oil spills.
President Obama is expected to make a final decision on the Keystone XL pipeline in early 2014. He needs to hear from you to stop this dangerous project once and for all.
Speak up for caribou today! Edit and send the message below, urging the President Obama to reject the Keystone XL tar sands oil pipeline.
