Efforts to return grizzly bears to their native Northern Cascades habit are in danger of being blocked by Congress.

Conservation experts have determined that grizzly bears cannot recover in the region without moving a small number of new bears into the ecosystem. The science is clear: grizzlies will not recolonize the Northern Cascades on their own. Representative Dan Newhouse, who represents part of the eastern Northern Cascades, has sponsored an amendment to block the funding needed to complete this vital step in returning grizzly bears to their native habitat.

Tell your representative to vote NO on the Newhouse Amendment!
