The Ohio River Basin is home to a diverse array of wildlife, like the belted kingfisher, and more than 25 million people who depend on the watershed as a source of drinking water, and a place of recreation.

Unfortunately, the Ohio River also tops the list of America’s most polluted waterways. Now, the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission is proposing to eliminate pollution control standards for the River and withdraw from the process of maintaining and updating the standards moving forward.

Take Action: Tell the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) to maintain pollution control standards the health of wildlife and the public depend on these safeguards!
