From the Heartland’s songbirds to the ducks of our coastal wetlands, federal habitat restoration programs that create conservation areas on working lands have helped ensure wildlife have habitat. The Farm Bill-- America’s largest source of federal funding for conservation programs on private lands--is being voted on this week. The Senate voted yesterday and passed the bill 87-13. Now it’s up to the House of Representatives. After months of negotiations, Congressional leaders are incredibly close to passing a wildlife-friendly bill that supports species like the blue-winged teal and their habitats!
National Wildlife Federation strongly supports the 2018 Farm Bill and we need you to tell your Representative, to VOTE YES to protect our nation’s valuable soil, water, and wildlife.
