URGENT ACTION: Make the Call for Wildlife TODAY

 

Right now, the Congressional Appropriations Committee is considering gutting crucial conservation programs that protect our wildlife and natural resources--and they are expected to vote in the next two weeks.

Please make a quick phone call to your U.S. representative today, urging him or her to oppose cuts to crucial conservation programs.


1.  Dial the Congressional Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and say you want to speak with with your representative. (Or, find your representative's direct phone number here.)

2.  When you reach your representative's office, say, "Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME], and I'm a resident of [CITY, STATE ]."

Then say, "I am calling to urge you to ensure that any spending bill for the federal government protects vital funding for conservation programs and remains free of anti-wildlife provisions."
